XY Screw Sand Washer Efficient Mud Removal Dewatering Clean Construction Sand

The XY Screw Sand Washer is designed and manufactured by Xinyida Machinery for effective washing and impurity removal of sand and gravel aggregates. Using an internal screw device, it stirs and separates mud from sand, efficiently removing clay and impurities to deliver clean, high-quality sand. The machine is widely used for washing, grading, and impurity removal in highway, hydropower, construction, and other industries, and is suitable for washing both fine and coarse materials, especially sand and gravel used in construction and road construction.

During operation, particles with higher specific gravity settle at the tank bottom and move toward the bent plate side, where the screw blades push the sand and gravel upward. Because the water tank extends an appropriate length beyond the lower horizontal line, excess moisture is removed during upward conveyance. The separated water flows into the fine sand recovery unit through the discharge opening on the opposite side, while the cleaned sand and gravel are discharged from the opening at the upper tank bottom. This design ensures effective dewatering and low material loss.

The XY Screw Sand Washer adopts a fully enclosed oil-bath drive unit, in which the screw is driven to rotate by the motor through a gear reducer and coupling. The machine features a 20° inclined arrangement, with the submerged part enclosed by three-side weir plates to form a sedimentation tank and the screw tail immersed in it. Integrating both washing and dewatering functions, it offers low material loss, high washing and grading efficiency, low loss of medium-fine sand and stone powder, and can fully meet the requirements of high-grade materials, ensuring stable and reliable performance in demanding washing applications.
