Closing the Loop in Wet Processing

The XY Dehydration and Fine Sand Recovery Integrated Machine is not a modified sand washer or an add-on screen. It is a purpose-built, dual-function system that simultaneously dewaters material and recovers fine sand from wastewater. Developed from European and American engineering principles and refined for China’s green development strategy, it addresses a simple but costly reality: most wet processing operations lose valuable fine material every minute they run.

What Gets Lost, Gets Recovered

In any sand washing or mineral processing line, the smallest particles are the hardest to retain. Conventional equipment simply cannot capture fine sand in the 0.1–0.35 mm range before it flows into settling ponds or tailings storage. The XY machine changes this outcome. Using a semi-closed design and a polyurethane-lined hydrocyclone, it achieves a recovery rate exceeding 90%. Material that once was a disposal problem becomes a stackable, sellable product.

This matching eliminates the common inefficiencies of oversized pumps or mismatched cyclones. Built to Endure

Reliability in wet, abrasive environments requires precision manufacturing and careful material selection. The XY screen body is machined on a gantry boring and milling system, with side milling and hole boring performed in a single setup. This ensures perfect concentricity of the vibrator assembly, a critical factor for long-term stability. Bearing housings are cast from a special alloy steel that resists wear and prevents the outer race rotation that causes premature failure in ordinary designs.

The vibration system combines shaft eccentricity with eccentric block rotation, delivering strong, consistent screening force without destructive shock loads. The polyurethane-lined hydrocyclone significantly outlasts rubber or unlined alternatives.

From Sludge to Sand

The transformation is straightforward: turbid wastewater enters the system. Cleaner water exits from the overflow. Recovered fine sand is discharged from the underflow, dewatered, and stockpiled. Nothing essential is wasted. The XY machine does not just clean water—it captures value.
